Keycap Fonts

Working on displaying the key caps properly in the Appendix is taking more time than expected. Joe Strandberg put in all efforts to make the keyboard as close to the original as possible. One item has been the keycaps and the keycap font.

IBM didn’t use a plain Helvetica or a derivative of it, as many other companies did. Luckily with David Zimmerman there as someone out there who could analyze how it was created most likely and re-created it manually.

I just had to take what they have already produced and bake it into a format LaTeX (used for typesetting) can work with. I still have to re-do most of it, but the format is out there.
